“Stayed at the end of July 2011 with my wife and 5-year-old grandson. Owners Richard and Karen were welcoming from the moment we arrived. Rooms were spotless with plenty of storage, and breakfast was good with options to suit everyone. Trams and buses to the centre were just a few minutes' walk away. After a tiring day, it was good to return for a relaxing and peaceful night, ready for the next day. Although it's further along the North Shore at Gynn roundabout, it only takes 10 minutes by tram to the Tower, but its location is worth it for peace and quiet.”

9.2Verified guest

“We had an en suite, spotless room. Liked the location—unbeatable, close enough to the centre. Friendly service, though a few staff members were poor.”

“First time at The Craigmore but won't be the last. We were made so welcome on arrival; our room was very comfortable and spotless, with tea, coffee, and biscuits waiting for us. Breakfast was served nice and hot on warm plates, which makes a nice change. All in all, The Craigmore is definitely on our to-do-again list.”

“My girlfriend, our 6-year-old daughter, and I stayed here for 3 days. The hotel was excellent—clean, comfy, good breakfast every day—and the owners were very nice and welcoming on our short but great stay. Will definitely be back.”
